About Dr William Wu
Dr William Wu is an Adelaide-trained Rehabilitation Medicine Physician with a special interest in diagnosing and managing spasticity. He completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2015. He obtained Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (RACP) in 2022 after statewide specialty training across SA Health networks and country sites. His practice is patient-centred, goal‑oriented, and focused on restoring function and quality of life with ultrasound‑guided botulinum toxin injections, therapy programs and practical rehabilitation plans.

How Dr Wu treats spasticity
​Dr Wu begins with a comprehensive assessment of tone patterns, current function, personal goals and therapy needs. When appropriate, he performs ultrasound‑guided botulinum toxin injections to improve precision and comfort. Each patient then receives an individualised rehabilitation plan advice on therapy, stretches and medication optimisation. Follow‑up appointments review progress against goals and fine‑tune the dose and target muscles as needed.
